
Things you’ll need:
- 35 Grams (1/4 cup) Plain Flour
- 2 TBS Cocoa Powder
- 3 TBS Caster Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Large Egg Yolk
- 2 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 3 TBS Milk
- 1 TBS Nutella, Plus some on top
- In a mixing bowl, add in your flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder. Stir together. Then add the egg yolk, vegetable oil and milk, stir to combine.Pour the cake batter in a microwave safe cup or mug. (ensure that you still have room for the cake to rise so that it doesn’t overflow)
- Add Nutella in the middle of the cake. Microwave for approximately 80 seconds. Then add a bit of Nutella on top. This step is optional but I like to sift a bit of powdered sugar on top of it all. Then dive right in!
